The downstairs just went under a complete RENOVATION with all new furniture, bedding and a new washer and dryer for the home!
Enjoy a comfortable evening on the screened in porch of this second row cottage located in South Litchfield of Pawleys Island. Boasting 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms this house has plenty of room for a wonderful family vacation. Themed bedding in all the rooms gives every guest the calming feeling of being at the beach. Guests can enjoy a fantastic meal in the open floor plan kitchen and dining area. The best feature of this home is the ability to take a cool swim out in the pool in the back yard. The whole family will cherish the memories made here. Located across the street from the Litchfield Inn giving guests access to oceanfront dining.
Bedding include 2 kings, 1 queen, 4 twins, and one daybed with trundle as well as a Pack-N-Play for even the smallest of guests. The pool is a sought after Salt Water system. There is plenty of covered parking for all vehicles. High speed internet is provided for all of your device needs. Air conditioning and heat are also provided with the home. The home is equipped with six TVs, Keurig and drip coffee maker, DVD Player, BluRay player, Stereo/CD Player, toddler bed bumper and more!

This was the 31st annual Pawley's Island golf trip. The 8 guys decided to try a house rather than the traditional condo's we rent. All 8 of use had our own bed and were very comfortable for the 6 days we were there. The house is very convenient to all of the great golf courses in Pawley's Island!

A group of girlfriends and I stayed here for a 50th birthday celebration. The house is not only beautiful but the location is one of the best in the area. We walked across the street and were steps from the beach. When we didn't want to go to the beach, we spent our time lounging poolside at the house. The house is spotless and lends itself to spending time with family and friends. I plan to go back with my family!

The beach house met all expectations and we enjoyed the house. The only issue is parking and access. The house is located near the Inn, a beach access, high traffic & golf carts parked along the street. Bushes restrict sight lines for backing out. And the grassy areas limit maneuvering.

This was our 3rd year staying at “A Pleasant Place” and each year it gets better and better. Although not “beach front” you’re directly across from the beach access point which makes coming and going from the beach extremely easy. The pool is perfect for when you’ve had too much sand and ocean and comes stocked with pool toys. There are even beach toys provided. The kitchen is well stocked which makes cooking easy to do as well. We will definitely be back for more!

8 (50+) guys on a golf trip... great property, very clean and fully stocked for cookouts each night (incl. gas grill). Only a few miles from the golf courses (Caledonia, True Blue, Pawleys Plantation, etc.) and a block from the beach.

Amazing!! First of all, the rental company is amazing!! When we stopped to pick up our key they randomly had a box of cold Heineken’s they gave us. The house was so clean and perfect for us!! Pool

First of all I wish to have the house next year 7/2/2022 Items to repair: kitchen sink drain. Next: AC ducts in both bath rooms need to be insulated they drip. Good property and location. Would definitely stay again. House is well maintained and clean for our arrival. Kitchen had just about all the pots pans plates utensils and spices you would need for a stay. Only complaint is the area under the house will flood from a good rain common in the summer and renters should be notified of the issue ahead of time. Not a deal breaker but water came very close to getting into the downstairs area during our stay. Having a sump pump and long hose on property would be nice as it could quickly alleviate the problem. Water almost got to an extension cord in laundry room that was plugged in so it’s also a safety hazard for the owner. Otherwise it was a great stay and I’d recommend to anyone as long as they know of the flooding ahead of time.

The owners were made aware of the situation and have since installed a drainage system to prevent this from happening again in the future. Please come back and stay with us again in the future.

We had a great stay at “A Pleasant Place”! Due to the covid pandemic we were hesitant to eat out but that was no problem because the house was adequately stocked with anything we needed for cooking and even your basic spices and such! Perfect access to the beach for a young family that sometimes got to the beach and decided they’d rather be in the pool. Beach toys and chairs were available for our use as well as plenty of board games and even some kid favorite dvds to entertain away from the sun. We’d love to come back and stay again!

We felt very spoiled at A Pleasant Place for our recent family beach vacation. The home has been updated and it is just gorgeous. It is across the street from the public beach access so we just went back and forth every day from the beach, to the pool, to fix a quick bite and back to the beach again. We used our equipment credits at Vay K Gear for bikes. There was plenty of room and the home and pool were clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this home and hopefully we'll be able to visit again soon. Tidelife was also a great company to work with as due to Covid-19 I called several times to get updates in the months leading up to our stay and each time they were very nice, understanding and informative.

We really enjoyed this house. The only issue was with the pool being heated. We paid for the heating and the heater was running but never got over 70 degrees. We were refunded our money but were disappointed that we never got to use the pool.

Once you stay in the Litchfield/Pawley's Island area you will always want to come back, especially if less crowded beaches, excellent golf courses, excellent restaurants, and beautiful scenery appeals to you. The greatest assets were the HVAC system, comfortable beds, the wonderful salt water pool, and the privacy. This location is on a curve and you have to be extra careful pulling out of the driveway but you should always be careful anyhow.

The property is beautiful. The house is not clean. Animals in the kitchen. The downstairs room is very bad. I returned with my baby. My wife was in very poor health. It was not professional.

We are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant stay. A vast majority of people who have rented this home have rated it 5 stars - including the cleanliness rating and have highly recommend the house to other prospective renters. (See the other 47 reviews below).
We work very hard to meet the expectations of our guests, we were happy to even accommodate the late check out on your departure date due to your late flight. This home is NOT pet friendly, so there should not be ANY evidence of a pet being in the property. The downstairs area has just gone under renovation and the upholstery was all cleaned last week. The guest agreement and welcome letter you were emailed before your arrival instructs you to please call our office in the event you have ANY issues, and we also explain this to you at check in. Our office line is testable even after-hours, and we have an agent on call at all times 7 days a week. Again, we are sorry to hear you had a bad experience - but please in the future reach out to our office so we can assist you.
