Upon entering, you'll be greeted by an open-concept living space flooded with natural light. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream, featuring top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, coffee maker & Keurig, dishwasher, gas stove top,
large countertop bar seating 4 comfortably and formal dining room table that seat 7 comfortably both under custom made chandeliers that scream coastal luxury living. Living room with 2 oversized couches and sitting chairs that surround a stone ceiling to floor fireplace.
Bedrooms: The four spacious bedrooms are exquisitely designed for comfort and relaxation. The oceanfront king master suite is a sanctuary in itself, with a private en-suite bathroom featuring a shower. Second bedroom upstairs is a queen with it's own en-suite bathroom featuring a shower. Third bedroom on the main floor features two twins that share a full bathroom with the hall. The forth bedroom on the main floor has 2 bunk beds with trundles - all twins, and a twin sized day bed with its own private bathroom featuring a shower. This bedroom also connects to the sitting room with a flat screen TV. There is also a half bath located on the main floor.
Additional amenities include: wifi, central HVAC, all major appliances such as washer/dryer, refrigerator, gas stove, oven, 2 dishwashers, beverage cooler, microwave, flat screen TV in the sitting room downstairs, garage for ample parking and storage underneath the house, two enclosed hot/cold water outdoor showers with a toilet and sink, additional washer & dryer underneath house in the storage room, outside dining table that seats 8 comfortably with counter top and sink, screened in porch on the ocean front with rockers, chairs and a hammock.
Recreational Amenities: This home offers a tennis membership which includes tennis, pickle ball, fitness center, pool usage along with food & beverage purchasing at the club. Access to these amenities require registration for a guest account and you can set this up through the DeBordieu club directly. A $200 per day fee will apply.

One of the best beach houses I have ever stayed in. Wonderfully decorated and stocked with everything you'd need to enjoy a beach vacation. Lovely porch and living room set up. Want to give props to Elizabeth and the Tidelife team who went over the top to make sure our experience was first-class.

My family of 12 loved staying here. The sunrise was absolutely gorgeous and could be viewed from several areas in the home. The upstairs bedrooms - just open the blinds and what a beautiful morning view with sun arising. Kitchen well stocked and home very spacious. If I had to find a negative it would be that there is only 1 tv so we let the children enjoy it and we had lots of good adult conversations and game playing.

This is a great house. As far as I know, it is the only front flag oceanfront house available to rent in Debordieu (there may be one other, but the rest are back flag homes). I agree with a previous reviewer: someone with an eye for architecture designed this home. The triple hung windows are so cool and allowed for amazing views. Just an FYI if you are traveling with someone with mobility challenges: there is no elevator and you will need to climb some stairs. As always, Tidelife is the best there is. We have already booked again for March.

We did a quick weekend trip for Mother's Day weekend with our family and had a blast. The layout of the home was incredibly functional. Steps away from the beach, multiple outdoor showers and a bathroom that was really convenient for everyone so no one had to go inside the house while having beach time. Amazing ocean views from top story two bedrooms and main floor bedroom. Our favorite part of the home was the massive back screened in porch overlooking ocean. Beach is quiet and peaceful, not overly busy like most other beaches. We will absolutely come back.

We couldn't have asked for a better week in the low country. The house was the most well equipped rental property i've stayed in, and the most beautiful (clearly designed by an architect), and the setting was perfect for our family. Easy access to the beach as well as the clubhouse/pool.
The triple hung wondows that look out across the ocean and can be opened and walked through were the icing on the cake. The weather was gorgeous and opening the windows, walking through them to the screened in porch to watch sunrise, listen to the waves crashing, and cook breakfast... was exactly the vaction we were in search of.
Incredible setting, wide open beach, well equipped house (particularly the kitchen)... A+. Excellent layout, I particularly liked how the TV room was remote and not part of the main oceanside living space.
My wife, 9 month old daughter, sister, parents, and wife's parents, spent a wonderful week in the Oyster Pearl and fully intend to return.

We have rented many VRBO homes that look good in pictures but the reality does not. This home is the exception in that the pictures do not do it justice to how wonderful it is. The build quality and layout is amazing. We had two families, so five adults and four kids and everyone loved it. It is right on the ocean and solid enough you can not hear anything in the house upstairs or down. When we left my wife wanted to buy it as is for our beach house!

We had originally booked another house in debordieu and were notified 2 weeks before checking in that the house was being sold and the owners would not honor our reservation and we were going to be moved to another house. Derek was very apologetic and professional throughout the process, and we were more than pleased with The Oysters Pearl! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the week, along with breath taking views and privacy. We will definitely be returning next year.

Great location, super-comfortable floor plan, beautiful decor.... and truly fantastic to not only have an outdoor shower and sink, but in addition to have a full outdoor bath setup with WC, sink, and two private showers on the deckso helpful after a long beach day!
Best experience for a last minute stay. Home has incredible location and is well appointed. Tidelife is wonderful to work with.
