Be sure to take a drive 15 minutes South, to the historic seaport City of Georgetown. South Carolina's third oldest city which boasts oak-lined avenues, riverfront shopping and dining, a scenic Harborwalk, dozens of majestic antebellum mansions, and a rich history. Every October the city puts on a wonderful WOODEN BOAT SHOW where thousands flock to see unique boats from all over as well as watch wooden boats being built. It's a super family event.
