We come back here every year and enjoy this quieter village. which Litchfield has to offer. The nearby walkable beach access, the villa with peaceful surroundings, all the amenities , plus the awesome TIDELIFE service team add up to make this hidden gem a very pleasant stay !

We rented Heron Marsh 86 by accident because we had originally scheduled a different property, but the owner sold it, so our agency moved us to this unit. It was very clean and homey. And a bonus was that we were very close to a bunch of family staying in Captains Quarters across the road from Heron Marsh.
Overall, the community is quiet and feels safe. The bike trails were so fun, and the kids loved being free to bike all over. I appreciated the shade under the deck for those sunny, hot days when we wanted to be outside. The beach was a short walk through the Captain's Quarters buildings. The only complaint was the beds were ultra firm, which I find uncomfortable, but to each their own in that department. I recommend this property to anyone who likes a peaceful beach vacation with bike trails, tennis, and pool access. One recommendation for renters is to bring containers for food as there weren't any to store leftovers. Happy vacationing!

The location was perfect.
We found that the property could use some repairs especially for the cost of renting it. The kitchen light panel was broken., the air conditioning did not work upstairs in the bedroom, the upstairs tub had a large chip in the porcelain and the floor near the tub was in bad condition. Wasn't expecting the property to have minor issues for the amount of money to rent. As long as you are okay with that, I would recommend it to anyone looking for convenient location to the beach.

We usually stay for couple of months over winter season and like the TIDELIFE team service who have many rental options. This Litchfield location affords easy access to beach , tennis courts, on-site Starbucks and cycling. We are already planning to return !

We stay there due to location. Really needs updating. Management very attentive. rugs need to be cleaned. Quiet. Difficult this year due to hurricane.

Tidelife so easy to work with always and we rent only from them
This property is not one we would want to stay in again

We had a really good time. The grounds were very pretty. The location was great just as described. Convenient to restaurants and activities. Beach access close. Very quiet. Management very attentive and prompt. Condo itself was ok but definitely needs some updating. However it was very clean and stocked

OK Clean, comfy and close to beach. Dishwasher needs to be replaced as it doesn’t clean dishes. Light out in oven & foyer lamp doesn’t work. Maintenance very responsive to fixing shower door, replacing burned out bulbs, resetting circuit so electric outlet worked in upstairs bathroom. Some outside lights out & downstairs tub drains slowly.

Not kept in good condition. Blinds fall off the wall when raised, bathroom fan doesn't work, popcorn ceiling peeling or has fallen off ceiling in many areas. Needs updating badly!

overall, very nice. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked great. The property was clean. The shower door in the downstairs handle had become separated from the door, so I called and left a message. The ceiling had shown evidence of a prior water leak and needs to have popcorn scraped and reapplied or updated, but only took away aesthetically and didn't appear to actually be leaking. Previous cleaning crew left towels on front porch. Since we were there for a weekend getaway, we moved them to a corner and called the office. No one came to remove them, but not a big deal since we were there for just the weekend. Overall, a nice place.

We stayed in Heron Marsh over Thanksgiving with our 2 toddlers (2yrs and 4ys). The check-in/out process was seamless. The condo had a great setup for our family with the kids in separate beds downstairs and master upstairs and still ok for naps with the TV on in the main room. The condo was spotless and had ample kitchen utensils etc. The location within Heron Marsh is great in terms of its proximity to the beach, but it lacks a view of the pond or ocean.
Our only recommendation would be to upgrade the master bed and sheets. My husband and I both complained of a sore back each morning and the sheets were a touch scratchy.
Overall, it was a great stay.

Great location to beach access, very clean, perfect size unit and a very helpful staff. The gated community made us also feel very safe. We have 2 young kids and they loved the bike trails, pool, and pond fishing. We could not have booked a better place for such short notice. Thanks again Tidelife for managing this property and keeping it so clean for your guest.

Awesome vacation to get away and spend time with my kids! The condo was a 2 minute walk to the beach and SUPER COZY!! Will definitely be going back!! Suzanne was awesome and look forward to booking next years getaway with her soon!

This is our 2nd time of staying at this property. We enjoyed our stay, love the new granite counter tops, and that it now has a Keruig. The refrigerator leaked on kitchen floor at times and the dishwasher didn't do a great job either. Suggest to replace the dishwasher and refrigerator. We did find food crumbs in the dining room chairs.

Pretty good. I know the owner replaced beds downstairs and said she slept in upstairs bed and it was fine, but I ended up sleeping on the couch 5 of 7 nights, due to my husband being restless and bed seemed to move a lot. We really liked Litchfield by the Sea and the location of the rental. Rental needs updating and it will really be a great place. We were satisfied overall.Some lightbulbs in master bath over sink are blown and are very dusty. Little things, but would have looked better. Suzanne at Tide Water was great to work with!

This condo is just feet from the access path to the beach and a quick walk to the pool. Heron Marsh is a nice community where I felt safe letting my small boys scooter around outside. A bit too far for letting them walk back and forth to the beach on their own though. The condo itself is set up nicely for families, two doubles downstairs and one queen upstairs. Laundry is up. Kitchen was a bit underwhelming - older appliances and a lack of good pans and utensils. It feels dated. But how much time do you spend in a unit anyway? The deck was great for coffee mornings and cocktails in the evening. It is my understanding that the owner will do some updates this fall: I look forward to seeing them on our next trip! Tide life rentals is top rate and Suzanne and her staff are AMAZING!!
