Hard to understand why there is not a walkway to the downstairs bedroom so that sand is not tracked in every time one enters the room.

Any vacation on Pawleys is wonderful and Tidelife is always so responsive. The house itself had a lot to be desired. Took an hour to get the kitchen in shape to be there two weeks. No rugs in the house so sand everywhere. Just way too much stuff everywhere. TVs were hard to figure out.

This house has been the perfect place for my family and I for the last five summers. I am indescribably disappointed that it is not available for rent for next summer. I have looked unsuccessfully for another location but found nothing with all of the options Thant we have enjoyed.

I do want to end on a positive note. Tide life has been amazing! Although I haven’t found another location available when my family wants, I will always check with them when looking for assistance. Thank you, Tidelife, for ALL of you help!

We retired and needed to get away from our Maine winters. We always dreamed of spending 2 months on the beach. The house was extremely well supplied with anything we needed. Quite honestly, we loved everything about our stay and will be back next year. If you like walking on the beach, spectacular sunrises in front of the house and sunsets on the back.
Lastly, the people at TideLife Realty are true professionals and responsive. A++

By the time we leave, we will have stayed at the Sand Dollar for 2 months. We are extremely pleased with your stay. It is a beach house with a great location (on the beach) and it was very well supplied with cooking equipment, etc. Our goal was to rent a place on the beach and this was perfect. THe sunrises and sunsets are outstanding and the house was clean I love walking on the beach in the morning and the beach is beautiful. A++++. The real estate firm we used was TideLife and they were very responsive and pleasant to deal. Great people who go out of their way to make sure everything is OK. Very good people and we recommend them strongly. Communication was good but where appropriate. Great restaurant in the area as well.
To show what we think of this place, we will be back next Mark for the month and I would recommend this property and real estate company to anyone.

Sanddollar was very accommodating for our family. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with the exception of teaspoons. We couldn't set a proper table due to only having 2 teaspoons. The weather wasn't great, but the porches were a plus for either sitting and watching the ocean or the creek. Loved having the creek dock with a floating dock to tie our boat up to. As always, Tidelife and their staff were great to work with!!

The house in general was great, but the floors were filthy and items from previous renters were left under the sofas. A broom was found in the downstairs bedroom and a mini vacuum was found after a long search and did not work. The downstairs bedroom reaked of marijuana. When I called Tidelife Realty, the woman stated it was the COVID cleaning chemicals. The smell lingered all week, and my family with a baby had to endure the awful “smoke” smell all week. The upstairs space did not smell like the downstairs so either the upstairs wasn’t cleaned using the COVID cleaning supplies or no one smoked marijuana upstairs. Spending time with my family was priceless!

We enjoyed our vacation week again this year in the Sanddollar - perfect location, house and dock. Usually a rental house never has enough refrigerator space, but this one has plenty.

This house is perfect. This is not a large house but the layout of this house is so well thought out. We had multiple families stay in the house this week and never felt crowded. There is some paint peeling in places in the house, but it was very clean and decorated well, so it kind of added to the old Pawleys island charm. Another plus to this house is the covered dock on the creek. It provides great shade on a hot summer day. We would definitely stay at this house again in the future.

Our family converged from all over the US to start our reunion and vacation in Pawley's Island at the Sanddollar. The house was comfortable, easy to navigate inside and outside to the beach for one physically challenged adult and clean and fresh when we arrived. It was a bonus to have more than one refrigerator!
While the house layout was described accurately on the website, the 5th room and full bathroom downstairs is musty, isolated and the entry is on the far outside of the house. We did not use it during our stay, so essentially we had two bathrooms.
We enjoyed our stay and made good use of the awesome creek dock with our paddle board and small boat we rented during the week. We also spent many hours on the beachfront screened porch when not on the beach. We would definitely stay here again. **One small suggestion is to make small repairs in the house where paint is peeling and bathroom ceilings are cracked.

Our family had a great vacation with the ocean in front and creek behind. The Sanddollar was perfect for our family. Our two children, their spouses and our grandchildren slept on the main floor and us grandparents took the downstairs room which was nice and quiet but had a very uncomfortable and noisy mattress/bed, nothing like the nice firm ones on the 6 beds upstairs. We are looking forward to our return next year but we are hoping for a better bed.

Wonderful week, wonderful home, great location.. couldn’t ask for better except to add on more bedrooms for our growing family! ;) .. already booked for next year!

Great location, property was clean inside, had to sweep quite a bit of sand off the Oceanside screened in porch. Bathtub didn't drain well in bathroom on the south side of the house. House had some paint peeling off the wall in the living room and one of the king size bedrooms. Over all it is a nice property that needs some minor interior maintenance. It would be great if the downstairs apartment had an entrance inside the house, that was somewhat of an inconvenience to us since we had an elderly couple with us that had trouble with the stairs and it rained a couple of days while we were there. We decided not to use the apartment downstairs for them because they had to go outside to get into it. Over all it was a good property and a great location. We would certainly go back again but with a smaller group that could stay on one floor that 2 bathrooms could accommodate. We didn't use the 3rd bathroom at all because of its location. We would recommend it to others.

The real joy in renting this property was the rental company. We did have an issue and we relocated. Not due to any fault of the house. The professionalism and willingness to make our vacation wonderful is what sets this rental company apart. Thank you so much Tidelife.

The house was clean and had all of the items that we expected and more. We really enjoyed the bikes available to us to cruise around the island.
Hurricane Isaiah came during our stay and the rental company was very diligent to call us and visit the home to make sure we were doing what was safe and to make sure the property was protected. My brother had to work a bit everyday and the downstairs unit offered him a quiet getaway for that. We would love to return to this property.

This was our 3rd winter at the Sandollar. Perfect location, mid south end. This house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very comfortable beds. Great screened porch on the ocean as well as another porch on the inlet for beautiful sunsets. We will definitely be back for next winter.

Property was in a great location.
The re-nourishment was going on, however, we found the entire process to be amazing, and enjoyed watching it.
The place was very clean, and comfortable. Kitchen turned out to be great for our holiday meal, including guest.
My husband and I stayed in the downstairs rm, which included bed, bath, and small kitchen. It gave us a little get-a-way from all the activities of the younger adults at times.
My only complaint would be the bed. It’s only a reg. size bed, and pretty sure it’s seen it’s better days. I would suggest a new mattress so as to not disappoint any future guest.
Also, the kitchen had nothing in it, such as coffee pot ,(had the machine, but no pot ) , cups, etc. or utensils, so unfortunately we never used it.
Also, there’s a need for new bath mats in the downstairs bath.
The fact we had 3 baths was great, which is very hard to find with most places.
We appreciate the great price we were given because of the time of yr. and also that we were allowed a 3 night stay.
Tidelife was great to work with, and really appreciate Emma.

Tidelife did a great job working with us. It's always a pleasure to work with their staff. There are a few things about the house that would make it better. More storage for food (everything had to be put on the counter) and you can't run the dishwasher while watching TV in the living room. We worked around that but it would be great to solve that issue. The covered dock was great!

This location was really great for us because we have beach lovers as well as fishermen who love the creek. Every thing about the house was good for our family and we plan to return next year.

We had a wonderful experience renting from TideLife and staying at the Sanddollar! The house was perfect for our family vacation and we absolutely loved having the beach out the back door, marsh and dock out of the front door! The house was extremely well appointed, very clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable! The only thing we may suggest is that they may need a new coffee maker. It would take about 20 minutes to make a pot of coffee, and when we put in 12 cups it only made 8. Other than that- this house was absolutely amazing and we hope to be back!!

The lay out is great for multi-family or a large family. our kids really enjoyed the lounge area in the laundry room, especially on the cooler days. Kamra with Tidelife was so great to work with. I would absolutely rent this property again and if it wasn’t available I would still rent from Tidelife because of our excellent experience with Kamra. This was our second three month winter stay at the Sand Dollar, property is well maintained and very comfortable. King size beds in 2 rooms and doubles in other 2 beedrooms. Beautiful screed porch oceanside as well as lower deck to beach. Great dock on inlet, fishing Jan through March for spotted trout was exceptional. Kitchen appliances are fine if cooking, local reasturants very good. Would highlss y recommend the Sand Dollar for family vacations, So pleased with this property that we have bookded for next winter Thanks Suzanne!

The Tidelife staff was professional, helpful and very friendly. The Sand Dollar is a very special beach house -- one we will definitely be returning to again! From the oceanside screened porch, to the pier on the salt marsh, we were surrounded by the beauty of Pawleys Island.

My mom has been coming to Pawleys for 60 years and this was her last visit due to her lung disease. We wanted to have three generations enjoy this last escape with her and the Sanddollar was the perfect place. Beautifully decorated, well-equipped and priceless location. We couldn't ask for more. Views were fantastic from the front and back of the house. If the beach was too high we played in the creek. Best vacation ever. And the management staff are the sweetest. When I told them this story at check-out, they cried with me and hugged. They felt like family.

I had a great time again this year. The wather was great and Suzanne and the staff treated me as a friend. Looking forward to next year!

Our experience with Tidelife and staying at the Sanddollar has been excellent. This is our 4 year renting this property and it is always clean and beautiful and feels like home away from home. We are always excited to get there and never want to leave. Thanks for always making our vacation more than amazing.

Loved this house! Everything was fresh and clean, kitchen had every single thing we needed, ocean and creek right there!

We stayed at Sand Dollar, which is a beachfront property that includes a dock behind the house on the creek. A lovely house!

We had a wonderful time at this house. Perfect location. Kids had the beach on one side and husband had fishing on the other side. It was well stocked with everything we needed, very clean and comfortable. Tidelife was awesome to work with.

I recently spent a week here with 6 other family members. The house is updated, clean, and has plenty of room. At the time of our stay there were several heavy Adirondack chairs and rocking chairs as well as a sturdy table with 4 chairs on the screened porch overlooking the ocean. On the opposite side of the house, there is an enclosed, heated and air conditioned laundry room with a large refrigerator and a comfortable chair adjacent to the screened in porch overlooking the creek. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. There was a large crock pot, a Keurig, and a coffee pot. There is also an abundance of plates, glasses, mugs, silver wear, and even a bunch of wine glasses and bottle openers. At the time of our stay there was also a drawer stocked with a variety of cooking spices. The room below the house is comfortable with a small kitchen area, a bathroom with a shower, and another full sized refrigerator. Each bedroom has a tv.

The beach got windy and cool during our stay so we really enjoyed the large creek dock to get away from the wind but still enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

There were a few beach chairs under the house for guests to take to the beach. There were plenty of bath towels, one kitchen towel, but no beach towels. There is a large parking area under the house. Our family fit 4 cars with no problem.

Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay in this house! Thank you to the lucky owners for sharing your beautiful beach home with us! We will be back next year!

My wife and I rented the Sand Dollar January through March of this year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was updated within the last 2 years with new appliances, microwave, electric stove, dishwasher etc. Bathrooms were both new as was bedding in the 4 bedrooms. Ideal home for weekly summer rental with direct access to beautiful beach and great fishing dock.
This was our second winter at Pawleys and we have already booked for next winter.

Great location, beautiful beach, even in winter. Close to great restaurants, good golf. Convient dock for fishing. Home was recently remodeled, clean comfortable. Suzanne of Tidelife held a mixer for winter renters and owners, met people to socialize with. Suzanne and Max were very professional in meeting all our needs.

The house was immaculate. Location is perfect! I took my company trip to this place and it was awesome! We had 10 people here with plenty of room to spare. Huge parking area which was nice because we brought 5 cars. The waves come too the bottom of your steps at high tide! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Phenomenal property, fabulous renters! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved that we could watch the sunrise on the beachfront and the sunset on the dock! Kitchen was the most well stocked of any we have ever stayed in. Great kitchen table for meals and family games. We loved that we could kayak or fish when we were tired of the beach. Very nice and comfortable, but not too fancy. We didn't have to worry about the kids breaking things. The only thing missing was an enclosed outdoor shower. Would have saved a lot of sand from inside.

We spent Christmas week at Sanddollar and thoroughly enjoyed it. The property description is accurate and it was very clean and maintained. My only concern was the lack of supplies (dishwasher detergent and liquid dish detergent, trash can liners, facial tissues, etc.). The stores were closed on Christmas and supplies were hard to find. Most rental homes provide these necessities.

Wow! We really enjoyed our stay at the newly renovated Sanddollar! It has the classic beach house layout we love with plenty of room for two families. The location can't be beat. We love the south end of Pawley's where you can enjoy the ocean and the creek. The renovations are beautiful and the house was very clean and comfortable. We actually considered renting this home several years ago and couldn't believe how nice it looks now! All weekend we couldn't stop commenting how nice this house is! I was a little surprised they did not remodel the shower in one bathroom - the other shower is so nice and the rest of the house seems brand new! Hopefully that is in the plan this off-season. It would finish off a complete remodel.
We rent in Pawley's several times a year and Tidelife is always excellent to work with - they are our first choice whenever we travel to the area.
We will absolutely be back to Sanddollar!

Our church ladies group had a wonderful time at the Sanddollar! The house has plenty of space for a larger group and the view from the back deck is so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the back deck :) We came on the heels of Hurricane Matthew, and they had worked extra hard to make sure the house was ready for our stay. The house was very clean, and there were plenty of linens. Also, the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. The property managers were great! They were hard at work to restore the island and properties after the hurricane, but they were very responsive to our questions. The wifi didn't work while we were there, but that was a leftover issue from the hurricane damage and not their fault at all. We had a wonderful time and would certainly come back to the Sanddollar again!

The house was perfect, completely spotless and cute. We were directly on the sand with an amazing and empty beach. The dock in front was perfect for fishing, kayaking, etc. I would return in a heartbeat! Thank you!

Our family of 7 adults (my husband, 5 sons and me) stayed here from Aug. 20-24. It is right on the beach and has recently been updated throughout. There is a big main room for living, dining and kitchen, and the four bedrooms are right off that room, with Jack&Jill bathrooms between each two.
PROS: really nicely updated

VERY well-equipped kitchen!
CONS: bathrooms are quite small, and everybody shares
Wood floors throughout which is nice, but also sound travels easily
In summary, we liked the house a lot, especially its location, but the bathroom situation and noise level detracted just a bit. Just being honest here.

This house not only has a breach, it has access to a pier that's on some backwater. It's perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing etc. Access to the beach and quality of beach here is among the best.
The house is perfect for 4 young families. The layout is practical with each of the 4 bedrooms having private access to a shared bathroom via Jack and Jill doors. The common area and kitchen is adequate, but the real shared space for this house is the porch which is really nice.
Our group had 4 young families, 2 families with grade school kids, and another 2 with co-sleeping toddlers. This location was great for our group. We enjoyed this location very much.
